Tractor Tire pressure

Optimal tire pressure in tractors varies depending on soil conditions and load. Higher pressure is suitable for dry, firm ground, while lower pressure is recommended for soft or wet soil. The maximum pressure stated in the manual is not an ideal operating pressure; the correct working pressure is usually lower. In practice, most field tractors operate with rear tire pressures between 12–20 psi (≈0.8–1.4 bar), and slightly higher if road use is involved. Pressure checks should be performed in the morning when the tires are cold, and the readings should be recorded regularly.
